Mike Gerrior, Registered Massage Therapist
Mike prefers to address specific areas during treatment, which he believes will be most effective in achieving your treatment goals and getting you back on track. He has completed the Advanced Schweitzer Deep Tissue Therapy courses and specializes in deep tissue treatment for chronic pain, postural imbalances, repetitive strain, work related injury and motor vehicle accidents, as well as other related conditions. Working each client's tolerance to make certain treatment is both manageable and effective, Mike believes that a deep tissue treatment plan, including specific and general techniques, as well as properly-executed home care, is optimal for your continued soft tissue health, recovery and maintenance.
Paul Warner, Registered Massage Therapist
Born & raised right here in Nova Scotia, Paul now finds himself living & practicing massage therapy in Halifax. Working with a range of pressure & techniques, his treatment style is attentive & thorough, and while the goal is to find relief of symptoms, Paul also helps you to feel relaxed & at ease. For those of you who prefer deep pressure, Paul is a good choice for your therapeutic needs, and he will work with you to customize the right treatment plan for you. Alorah Goodfellow, Registered Massage Therapist
Alorah has been practicing massage therapy since 2011, and her style is a moderate pressure massage and she focuses on treating patients with chronic pain. Alorah strongly believes in tailoring treatments to fit the needs and goals of the individual, and she looks forward to meeting new and returning clients at Massage Addict Spring Garden. In her spare time, Alorah enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her two cats. Caitlin (Kit) Houle (They/Them), Registered Massage Therapist
Kit is originally from Fredericton, New Brunswick, and graduated from the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage with honours. Kit believes that stress has a lot more negative effects on the body than most people realize, and that massage is the easiest and most natural way to get stress relief. But don't be fooled, clients often compliment the firm pressure and strong hands that Kit has! Kit likes to use Swedish massage techniques and their background in Active Myofascial Sports massage to deal with chronic conditions. Kit will walk you through any of the more rigorous techniques, to work within your comfort level and to get lasting results. Martin Morin, Registered Massage Therapist
Martin is originally from the small town of Perth-Andover in NB. Martin is a graduate of New Brunswick Eastern College’s Massage Therapy program. During his time in school Martin developed a strong ability to understand the body’s dysfunctions in both a technical and intuitive way. His approach is to “listen through his hands” to understand the underlying musculoskeletal problems contributing to his client’s concerns. Martin employs a variety of techniques, such as deep tissue massage, therapeutic massage, relaxion massage, myofascial techniques, and joint mobilizations. He also has his Reiki level 2 and plans to further his education in the future to earn a neuroscience degree. Martin is eager to meet new clients and help them achieve their wellness goals so they can feel their optimal and best self.
Angela Smith (She/Her), Registered Massage Therapist
With two decades in health care, Angela brings both experience and sensitivity to her role as RMT. Grounded in General Swedish Techniques, Angela is skilled with myofascial release and deep tissue work but also approaches her practice holistically. She sees the value in both therapeutic and relaxation massage and strives to balance both aspects of treatment for her clients. A nurse as well as an RMT, Angela has worked in various areas of the health care system. She is very excited to be part of the Massage Addict team, and welcomes new clients. Angela graduated with honours from ICT Northumberland College in 2003 and is a member in good standing of MTANS.
Allison (Ally) Arbou (She/They), Registered Massage Therapist
Ally is an experienced and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist. Since graduating in 2017 with her Massage Therapy Diploma, Ally has established herself as a trusted professional who specializes in a range of techniques. Her key skills encompass General Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Rapid Neurofascial Reset, and Indian Head Massage.
Ally's dedication to her craft and attention to detail have earned her recognition and success.
Upon graduation she was the proud recipient of the Certificate of Excellence from MTANS, a testament to her commitment to high standards of practice. Ally has a reputation for her genuine compassion for her clients and understands the importance of creating a nurturing and healing environment. Ally takes an individual approach to treatment, customizing each session to her client with the goal of providing therapeutic relief.
Ally maintains a deep passion for her profession and continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing education and training, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in Massage Therapy. Alyssa Cleversey, Registered Massage Therapist
Growing up playing sports, Alyssa has a lifelong passion for injury prevention, recovery and rehabilitation. Alyssa believes in treating the cause as well as the symptom. With a background in personal training and love for weightlifting, Alyssa can easily tailor a full treatment plan with home-care to get you back to where you want to be!
Alyssa graduated from Eastern College with honours in 2021, and hasn’t stopped her love to learn more and master her craft. Alyssa believes in creating a nurturing and educational environment to give you the tools you need for recovery.
Bruce Kilburn (He/Him/They), Registered Massage Therapist
Bruce is an alumnus of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (2016) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) in Psychology and Sociology. They have recently taken Mental Health First Aid training as part of their focus on lifelong learning.
They serve the community as the current President of the Massage Therapists’ and Wholistic Practitioners’ Association of the Maritimes (MTWPAM). Bruce has been a college instructor at CCMH since 2019 and currently supervises the student clinics for Arthritis and Neurological conditions.
With over 25 years providing academic and technical support in various careers, Bruce seeks to engage and inspire others while encouraging an intuitive yet balanced approach to mind, body, movement and health.
Their training includes TMJ Dysfunction, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Cupping and IASTM, as well as RAPID Neurofascial Reset techniques. Bruce has experience working with arthritic and neurological conditions.
A self-proclaimed gamer and geek, Bruce enjoys supporting family and friends when not working or teaching and can often be seen wandering around the province experimenting with plant-based nutrition. They look forward to treating you at Massage Addict Spring Garden.
Elizabeth Fougere (She/Her), Registered Massage Therapist
Elizabeth Fougere graduated from ICT Northumberland College's 2200-hour Massage Therapy Program in 2019. She is a registered member of the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia. Elizabeth dedicates time to thoroughly understanding her clients’ individual needs through comprehensive intake and assessment procedures.
In creating treatment plans, she ensures continuous reassessment to help clients understand their progress. Alongside regular massage therapy treatments, Elizabeth provides remedial exercise routines and home care plans to support her clients in achieving their health care goals. Elizabeth is experienced in treating clients with injuries and conditions, including, tendonitis, postural dysfunction, motor vehicle accidents, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and headaches.
Elizabeth is trained in General Swedish Massage and certified in Cupping Therapy. She also incorporates Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Myofascial Release techniques into her treatments.
Adrienne van Vliet (She/Her), Registered Massage Therapist
Driven by her caring nature and passion for working with people, Adrienne chose a career in massage therapy and graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in 2015. During her education she took specialize training in deep tissue massage, fascial release, and cupping therapy. Throughout her career Adrienne has collaborated with athletes from professional and recreational sports, helping them enhance their performance and continue pursuing their passions.
In her customized treatments Adrienne will consider the role of connective tissue, and often use fascial release techniques to warm up tissues, promoting healing for various injuries. Adrienne is dedicated to assisting her clients in achieving optimal results, and guiding them towards their individual health goals.
Tracey Desmond (She/Her), Registered Massage Therapist
Tracey Desmond is a registered member in good standing with MTANS. She attended Eastern College in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she earned her honours diploma in massage therapy in 2017.
Tracey adopts a holistic approach to massage therapy, focusing on identifying imbalances and tension in tissues that may contribute to her clients' pain. She skillfully combines Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques to provide comforting and therapeutic treatments that are uniquely customized for a healing experience. Her primary objective is to help people live better lives by utilizing the healing benefits of massage, aiming for long-term pain relief through tissue balance. Tracey strives to ensure her clients leave each session feeling better than when they arrived.
In addition to her foundational training, Tracey has pursued continued education in various specialized areas, including aromatherapy, acupressure therapy for headaches, facial release therapy, deep tissue therapy, prenatal techniques, courses for treating PTSD and trauma, and Indian head massage.
Jesse Aiden Hale (He/Him), Registered Massage Therapist
With the mindset that touch is an undervalued form of healthcare that needs more awareness, Jesse believes that it is imperative that we allow ourselves time to feel cared for and appreciated. To support this belief, he offers a variety of treatment forms including relaxation, therapeutic, and sports injury prevention and has a special interest in treating those who undergo a lot of emotional and work-related stress. He also enjoys treating athletes and prenatal clientele. Jesse graduated from Mohawk College in Hamilton Ontario with Good Standing and is a member of MTANS.
Robin Harnish-Morrison (She/Her), Registered Massage Therapist
Robin graduated from CCMH in Halifax in 2022. Originally from the South Shore, she spent 14 years in Alberta working as a chef in the whole foods industry. Passionate about holistic living, Robin believes that self-care is essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Robin has experience working in a variety of clinical settings, where she treated clients for both specific injuries and general maintenance. She is skilled in general Swedish massage, abdominal massage, and TMJ treatment. Committed to continuous learning, Robin has earned certifications in hot stone massage and pelvic floor therapy. Robin employs moderate pressure in her massage techniques and looks forward to supporting your health goals through custom treatment planning.
Jared Roberston (He/Him), Registered Massage Therapist
Jared has a passion for holistic wellness and client care. His journey into massage therapy began with a keen interest of the science and function of human anatomy and a strong desire to alleviating physical discomfort. In 2024, Jared graduated from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Halifax. During his studies Jared received extensive training in various Swedish massage techniques, physical assessments, and effective treatment planning for a wide range of conditions including soft tissue injuries, acute and chronic pain, neurological dysfunctions, digestive challenges, and myofascial restrictions. Jared tailors each session to his client’s goals to create an effective therapeutic treatment that promotes healing and relaxation. Outside the clinic, Jared practices a healthy lifestyle and enjoys staying active through hiking and biking. With a genuine dedication to his profession and a friendly demeanor, Jared is ready to support his clients and their wellness journey.
Logan Hoskins (He/Him), Registered Massage Therapist
Logan, a graduate of ICT Northumberland College and a member of MTANS, has an interest in treating a wide range of issues including chronic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS). Logan has a background in strength and conditioning with training from Algonquin College and is interested in helping clients improve their sports performance by increasing muscle length and range of motion and decreasing adhesions. His commitment to assisting clients to achieve pain relief is evident in the individualized care he provides, altering his pressure from light to deep tissue techniques based on the client’s needs or preferences. Logan is proficient in various massage techniques, including myofascial/fascial techniques, General Swedish Massage, and joint mobilization. Beyond his professional role, Logan is passionate about martial arts with nine years of experience in Traditional Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He looks forward to helping you reach your wellness goals.
Kyle de Gannes (He/Him), Registered Massage Therapist
Kyle is a dedicated graduate of the Alberta College of Massage Therapy, completing the program in 2023. He offers a range of treatments, including light to deep tissue work, myofascial release, joint mobilization, trigger point therapy, intra-oral techniques for TMJ and jaw pain, assisted stretching to deepen the therapeutic effects of the massage techniques, and lymphatic drainage massage. Kyle entered the field of massage therapy with a passion for helping individuals from all walks of life feel their best. Kyle focuses on relieving pain and enhancing comfort. He is committed to prioritizing his clients' health and looks forward to supporting them in their wellness journey.
Cameron Clements (He/Him), Registered Massage Therapist
Cameron graduated from ICT Northumberland School of Massage Therapy in 2018 and believes massage therapy is essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. With experience working with a diverse range of clients, including professional sports teams, Cameron tailors each treatment to meet individual needs. Having been involved in sports throughout his life, he is passionate about helping clients recover from sports-related injuries and return to an active, healthy lifestyle. Cameron has mastered a variety of massage therapy techniques to address the unique conditions of each client. He is excited to join the Massage Addict Spring Garden team and looks forward to meeting and treating you!
Venus Munro (They/Her), Registered Massage Therapist
Venus graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in April of 2024. Throughout their education and career Venus has had a specific interest in rehabilitation and recovery. She uses a combination of fascial work, joint manipulation and muscle energy techniques to bring the body back to centre and facilitate healing. Born in Halifax, she has deep connections to the queer and trans community in the city and aims to provide a focused and safe environment for treatment where people feel heard. They also work extensively with the neurodivergent community and commonly associated disorders like Ehlers Danlos and hypermobility issues, gastrointestinal issues, anxiety, and migraines. Venus looks forward to meeting you and supporting your health journey through their custom therapeutic massage treatments.
Jessica Kempton (She/Her), Registered Massage Therapist
Jessica Kempton has been a practicing massage therapist since 2021. She graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and completed community clinics in arthritis, neurology, and invisible illnesses.
Jessica is an avid learner. In addition to her massage education, she has a Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie University majoring in Neuroscience/Psychology and Biology, with an accompanying undergraduate certificate in Disability Management/minor in health promotion. She is currently completing a graduate certificate in Mental Health and Addictions, and she has taken additional graduate courses in Health System Planning and Medical Neuroscience. Her education has prepared her in understanding the complexities of many physiological and/or psychological disorders/traumatic injuries that can afflict the body. By employing a combination of General Swedish, myofascial, and therapeutic techniques, she works to help clients with their relaxation related and/or musculoskeletal concerns. Although she leans towards the use of moderate pressure, she can adjust for all preferences and needs.
Jessica's specific interests lie in treating neuromuscular disorders and supporting mental health. She has a depth of experience with many conditions including but not limited to; MS, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's, PTSD, orthopedic surgery recoveries, rheumatoid and osteo arthritis, and whiplash. She offers pre and post natal massage, child massage, as well as cupping and hot stone treatments. Jessica is looking forward to supporting your wellness journey.
Callee Robinson (She/Her), Registered Massage Therapist
Callee Robinson is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH).
With a passion for holistic health, Callee believes in a patient-centered approach, so whether the goal is relaxation or rehabilitation, Callee will tailor each treatment to the individual needs of her patients.
During her time at CCMH, Callee enjoyed working with athletes, as well as with a range of arthritis and neurological conditions. Callee has experience working with numerous injuries and conditions and has taken continuing education in cupping therapy, as well as scar tissue and myofascial release.
Callee is very passionate about perinatal health and has pursued continuing education in pelvic floor, breast massage, cesarean section scar treatment, and infant massage. Callee has experience working with pre/postpartum patients, infants, and children. She looks forward to supporting your wellness and helping you feel your best.
