John Paul Mitchell, Registered Massage Therapist
John Paul is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. John Paul specializes in deep tissue work, using strength and precision to help relieve the pain and tension. He is also happy to provide treatments that promote relaxation, circulation, and repair.
John Paul also has an extensive background in martial arts and strength training. Working with athletes for many years has given him a very good understanding of human kinetics.
Jennifer Underhill, Registered Massage Therapist
Jennifer graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2006. With her decade of massage experience, she brings with her the knowledge and passion for treating clients of all ages and various conditions. Also, with a background in spa management and as a therapist, Jennifer's therapeutic treatments have a relaxing touch to benefit her clients overall health and wellbeing. Jennifer has recently returned from working overseas for several years and is eager to incorporate her worldly travels into her treatments and build long lasting therapeutic relationships with her clients.
Colleen Thom, Registered Massage Therapist
Colleen has been a massage therapist since 2003 and she also has a diploma as a sports injury therapist. She use a variety of techniques, most of which involve an increased understanding of biomechanics, to relieve muscle tension and increase joint mobility. A moving body is a healthy body. Colleen adapts each treatment to a client’s specific goals or areas of focus, whether you are in pain or simply need to de-stress and relax. This allows for good communication and a client-centered approach to wellness.
Danielle Affeldt, Registered Massage Therapist
Danielle Affeldt RMT has been in practice since 2013. Danielle has worked with clients presenting with various conditions such as sports injuries, postural imbalances, inflammatory arthritis, headaches, HIV+, stress. Danielle has furthered her studies with Reiki: a Japanese form of energy healing.
Danielle practiced Martial Arts for five years and became an Instructor’s Assistant. A background in performance arts allows her a working understanding of how to increase flexibility and muscle strength to reach athletic goals.
Danielle’s areas of strength include relaxation treatments, energy work, and emotional trauma. Danielle is NOT proficient in infant massage, prenatal treatments, or deep tissue work.
Marios-Savvas Stavrou, Registered Massage Therapist
Marios graduated from Fleming College in 2004. Has been practicing for 10 years working along side physios and kinesiologists. Main conditions that were treated were Headaches/Migraines, Dizziness, Concussions, Sciatica and Fibromyalgia. Marios loves to focus on tight fascia and muscles along the spine thus relieving any local pain or referral patterns in the extremities. With Esalen Deep Tissue, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Swedish Massage he has you covered.
Rosanne Gross, Registered Massage Therapist
Rosanne is a graduate from Sir Sandford Fleming College and has been a RMT since 2003. She has experience in both spa and clinical settings, with her passion being neck and shoulder work. She has additional training in TMJ Massage, Indian Head Massage, Joint Mobilizations, Myofasical Release and Cupping. She loves helping people relieve pain, improve function and she is committed to client centered care tailoring a massage that is individual and effective.
Betty McCabe, Registered Massage Therapist
Betty graduated from The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2008. She has taken additional courses in Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology and Cupping. She has experience working to help clients recover from concussions, headaches, and neck pain. Betty believes in proactive care to prevent postural problems that can lead to impingement syndromes. Danielle Straus, Registered Massage Therapist
Danielle Straus graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2006 with honours. Danielle has experience treating a wide variety of clientele including professional/world class athletes, children, elderly, prenatal as well as people suffering from the everyday grind. She treats with a firm or relaxing touch as needed to the clients preference.
Joe Edye, Registered Massage Therapist
Born and raised in the small town of St. Marys Ontario, Joe has been practicing massage therapy since graduating from Fanshawe College in 2016. Working in multiple settings he has experience working with clients at various stages in their life and with a wide array of reasons for seeking massage therapy.
Fei Wang, Registered Massage Therapist
Fei started his Massage Therapy career in China where he gained experience in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Tuina Massage. He possesses a strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology and uses various techniques to alleviate pain, reduce stress and improve overall well-being. He is a graduate from the Massage Therapy program at the Pharma-Medical Science College of Canada.
Alexander Gribkov, Registered Massage Therapist
Alexander graduated from Anderson College of Health, Business and Technology. He specializes in deep tissue to alleviate chronic pain and/or tension. Alexander is passionate about healing the mind and body through science-based techniques and understanding of human anatomy.
Alexander is also able to provide relaxation with general Swedish for clients looking to relax as well. Alexander is seeking to continue education within sports injury and rehabilitation.
Almarielsa Cansino, Registered Massage Therapist
Almarielsa is a highly skilled, trauma informed and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist that has been practicing since 2015. She brings a unique approach to healing that prioritizes sensitivity and understanding.
Almarielsa holds expertise in various specialized techniques. Her training includes proficiency in TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) therapy, cupping, hot stone massage, and cranial sacral therapy. This diverse skill set allows her to tailor sessions to meet the specific needs of each client.
With a commitment to ongoing education and a passion for holistic well-being, Almarielsa creates a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe and supported.
Natalia Gladysheva, Registered Massage Therapist
Natalia graduated from Anderson College of Health, Business and Technology with Honours. She is a dedicated and compassionate therapist who helps clients achieve balance and relieve pain and tension by using therapeutic massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, cupping therapy and functional taping/flossing. She is also certified in IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization). It is a safe, non-invasive and effective type of treatment that promotes improved blood flow, breaks down scar tissue, reduces pain, and enhances range of motion.
She has a background in martial arts, basketball, yoga, rock climbing, mountain biking and has a great knowledge of anatomy and physiology. This gives her a good understanding of sports injuries and rehabilitation.
Jennifer (Jenni) Warkentin, Registered Massage Therapist
Jenni has been practicing massage in her hometown of Waterloo since 1999 and has developed her skills to meet the needs of her clients.
She believes that massage is a great addition to one’s overall health and should become a routine. Whether the need is for a deeper treatment or a relaxing moment of silence on a busy day, she can meet those needs.
Outside of work she enjoys running, walking along the grand river, and enjoying time with her family and friends. She’s also known to finish a puzzle on the weekend!
Cheyenne Cartwright, Registered Massage Therapist
Cheyenne Cartwright (she/her) is a graduate of Anderson College, and an import from Dallas, Texas. A self described ‘physiology nerd’, she is an eager student of the latest research in evidence based practice. She is committed to strengthening your circle of care with thorough assessment and deep treatment.
Devin Baker, Registered Massage Therapist
Devin graduated from National Institute of Health Sciences with honours for Massage Therapy and also holds a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology degree from the University of Guelph-Humber.
Devin has experience working in multi-disciplinary clinics, helping many different patients heal their soft tissue injuries through manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. He specializes in sports injury rehabilitation and deep tissue work.
Janice Brenneman, Registered Massage Therapist
Janice graduated from the D'Arcy Lane Institute of Massage Therapy in 2006. Janice has worked in both spa and clinical settings. She provides personalized treatments using deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and swedish massage techniques.
