Dr. Derrick Nolan, Licensed Chiropractor
Dr. Nolan graduated from the University of Calgary with a B.Sc followed by an M.Sc in Molecular Genetics. He did genetics research then continued his education graduating Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA in 1997.
Dr. Nolan started out in Fine Arts winning scholarships at the University of Calgary and the world famous Banff Center, Dr. Nolan shifted into the Sciences to study health and healing. Dr. Nolan became a Chiropractor to serve people, to promote and support health naturally and non-invasively. In over 20 years of practice, Dr. Nolan has devoted countless hours to becoming an expert in natural, non-invasive health and healing. Dr. Nolan delights in helping others reach their full potential by sharing how chiropractic adjustments can make that happen.
Dr. Nolan belongs to Canadian Chiropractic Association, College of Chiropractors of Alberta, and Association of Chiropractors of Alberta. Besides that Dr. Nolan is also associated with Karate Clubs in Canmore, Calgary and Gibbons, and Provincial & National Chiropractic Associations.
In addition to his academic background, Dr. Nolan has a broad base of notable experiences: teaching blind kids to ski, provincial bike racing champion, completed four marathons, volunteer firefighter and emergency response, actively complete and practice karate (Chito Ryu - 11+ years, Aikido - 2 years, Tai Chi - 1 year), active member of the Red Deer BNI Horizon group. He also enjoy scrambling and climbing in the mountains with his two active teenagers, wonderful wife and dogs. In his spare time, he continues to feed his passion for lifelong learning by researching the latest in health and wellness.
Dr. Chad Yaeck, Licensed Chiropractor
Dr. Chad Yaeck graduated from Western States Chiropractic College with honors in 2003. The primary technique taught at WSCC was diversified manual adjustment techniques of the spine as well as the extremity joints of the body. Since graduating he has trained in and implemented many other very effective techniques into his practice. This includes pediatric training, Cranial Adjusting Turner Style, Torque Release Technique as well as others. He treats all age ranges from maternity and infant care, children through to senior care. A wide range of concerns can be aided through Chiropractic care with a special emphasis on prevention and overall wellness. Dr. Chad is compassionate and skilled in his approach with those who seek his care. He provides not only treatment, but encouragement in helping people to attain their health and wellness goals and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Chad grew up knowing the benefits of chiropractic wellness care on a very personal level because his grandfather was a chiropractor in Camrose, Alberta. After seeing his grandfather’s passion for chiropractic and experiencing chiropractic care as an integral part of his family’s normal routine, becoming a chiropractor was an obvious choice for Dr. Chad.
Dr. Chad has many outside interests, a few of which include spending quality time with his son, hiking, camping, yoga, reading, music and riding his motorcycle.
