Wai Man "Mandy" Cheung, R. Ac
Mandy studied Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in Hong Kong Baptist University for bachelor degree and Chinese University of Hong Kong for Master's degree. She started her practice in June 2008 and have over 10 years experiences in both Acupuncture and TCM. Mandy believes in helping the body heal naturally without the use of chemical medicine and she likes Acupuncture as it basically have no side effect. Besides Acupuncture, Mandy also use cupping, Gua-Sha and herbal medicine as treatment methods.
Acupuncture is helpful in alleviating the symptoms of many diseases like musculoskeletal disorders including sciatica, frozen shoulder, ligament sprain, disc disease, osteoarthritis; gynecology diseases and even preventive treatment - rejuvenation of the body by adjusting the flow of energy and blood.
She speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English. On her off days, she like cooking, hiking and reading.
Nivret Singh Pandohal, Registered Massage Therapist
Nivret is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Registered Massage Therapist specializing in rehabilitation and injury prevention. He completed a Double Major in Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture and Massage Therapy from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Additionally Nivret also completed the Neurofunctional Treatment of Sports Injuries Program from McMaster University, and Anatomy Trains Structural Integration program part 1 and part 2. His practice incorporates a range of techniques including electro-acupuncture, manual soft-tissue therapies such as micro-conditioning, myofascial techniques, Cyriax frictions and as well as herbal prescriptions and exercise recommendations. He is registered with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta, Canadian Contemporary Acupuncture Association and the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.
