Andrew Wong, Registered Massage Therapist
Andrew is a Graduate of West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster, BC. Prior to studying massage therapy, he attended Simon Fraser University, majoring in Sciences with a background in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. Andrew is well versed in trigger point therapy, cross fibre frictions and active stretching. He also likes to apply deep tissue massage during treatments, as well as providing home-care consisting of stretching and or strengthening in order to restore the body and improve quality of life.
He has a great passion for sports, specifically hockey and soccer. He likes to keep active during his days off with going to the gym, hiking and playing soccer.
Jun Kang, Registered Massage Therapist
Jun graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy here in British Columbia. He truly understands the importance of well-being and how his profession contributes to longevity filled with abundant health. His personal experience in competitive sports including golf, basketball, and Judo has offered him great lessons in rehabilitation and conditioning. Jun also has a keen interest in fitness and weightlifting. He is an experienced personal trainer with a Sports Science Diploma. Whether you are looking for therapeutic work or simply looking for maintenance, Jun has the knowledge and dedication to help you achieve your goals.
Jun treats a range of patients including health-care workers and varsity athletes providing him valuable experience in dealing with a diverse range of conditions such as headaches, frozen shoulder, shoulder impingement, chronic hip/lower back pain, and sport related injuries.
Outside of work, Jun enjoys going for hikes, runs, and playing golf.
Julianna Bouwers, Registered Massage Therapist
Julianna graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She studied science and kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. She also has a passion for martial arts and contemporary dance. Her interest for athletic rehabilitation and biomechanics led to her pursue a career in massage therapy.
Julianna’s massage treatment incorporates a variety of modalities to help reduce pain and promote relaxation and functional movement. She has experience working with patients with a wide variety of injuries and conditions including neurological disorders and postural dysfunction.
The focus in the treatment room is to help educate patients to make active changes to their lifestyle and empower them to take control of their own health through movement. Julianna wishes to inspire as many people as she can to live a healthy, happy, and functional life.
Hannah Mannetje, Registered Massage Therapist
Hannah graduated from Mohawk College in 2019 and is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of BC.
Hannah became an RMT because of her passion for holistic health. She has always had an instinct to help people and Massage Therapy allows her to help people improve their well-being while also empowering them to help themselves with proper home care and education.
She is always eager to continue to improve her skills by learning new ways to treat more effectively as an RMT through books, podcasts and other forms of training.
In addition to being an RMT, Hannah is also a yoga and meditation instructor. She enjoys cooking, reading and taking long walks with her dog Alfred.
Gabriel Tan, Registered Massage Therapist
Gabriel graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy and registered with the CMTBC in 2022 after earning his B.Sc. in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation.
Whether you are looking to recover after an injury, wanting to move better, or simply relax, Gabriel utilizes a comprehensive assessment to pinpoint the source of the problem while working with you in creating a safe and effective treatment plan to help you move towards your goals. Gabriel believes in an active treatment style and strives to empower you to get back to doing the things you love through patient movement education and open communication.
Gabriel's hobbies include hiking, running, climbing, searching for the best restaurants, riding motorcycles, and racing GoKarts.
Domtican (Dom) Padkiw, Registered Massage Therapist
With 18 years of enriching experience in the healthcare industry, this massage therapist radiates a deep passion for therapeutic touch. Dom’s background in nursing and traditional Asian massage has uniquely equipped him to focus on people with chronic pain management, mobility issues, and injuries guiding clients towards renewed vitality and well-being. His personal dedication to breathwork and meditation enriches his healing practice, offering clients a harmonious blend of rejuvenation and wellness.
Yan Ma, Registered Massage Therapist
Yan‘s love for exercise and human movement began at a young age. She was always very active. Her passion for therapy emerged after many years of playing competitive sports and recovering from personal injuries. She feels that pain is very personal, can be complex, and is best treated by looking at the person as a whole and not just their injury. She has many years of massage experience and she knows acupuncture points. She likes fascia and trigger points release, combined some other techniques together help her patients release the pain. She is particularly interested in treating neck , shoulder injuries, back and hips pain, headaches, and helping patients decrease their stress levels. In her personal life, Yan enjoys competitive badminton, hiking, bouldering, running and hiking. She prides herself on taking an active role in her patients' recovery by taking the time to listen to their stories, working from the heart, and trying her best to re-ignite hope and optimism. Her first language is mandarin, but she also can speak cantonese and she is fluent in English.
Philip Tith, Registered Massage Therapist
Phillip began his massage career in 2008. Having worked at a rehabilitation centre early in his career in Ontario he's treated patients with various conditions such as fractures, sprains and fibromyalgia. Phillip also practiced at a spa and Yoga studio where he treated a variety of clients mainly office desk workers dealing with chronic posturing, clients with stress and weekend warriors. Along his career he's had a chance to study Thai Massage in Chiang Mai Thailand and Toronto Ontario to train and explore the tradition and art.
Whether treatment or relaxation he takes the time to understand any clients' need and comfort level to give an enjoyable and effective massage.
In his free time you can find him walking his dog daily. He enjoys travelling out of the province whenever he can.
Joanna Gunn, Registered Massage Therapist
Joanna first became interested in Massage Therapy after a cycling injury. Her recovery included seeing a Registered Massage Therapist, sparking her interest in the healing role of Massage. Since graduating from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, Joanna has enjoyed utilizing her knowledge and skills to help clients on their roads to recovery.
Joanna has an empathetic and personalized approach to her practice, offering various types of Massage including Therapeutic, Swedish, and Prenatal. Joanna has pursued further certification in Therapeutic Hot Stone Massage, a treatment that has been used worldwide for centuries, known for its powerful healing and relaxation benefits.
When away from the massage table, Joanna enjoys getting out onto the local mountains to hike and snowboard.
Justyne Lunden, Registered Massage Therapist
Justyne is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. She has experience in a variety of settings including multidisciplinary clinics, wellness centres, and outreaches. This diverse experience has allowed her to refine her skills and tailor her approach to each individual’s unique needs. Whether it’s relieving chronic pain, rehabilitating injuries or simply promoting relaxation, she is committed to providing the highest level of care.
