Ping Shen, Registered Massage Therapist
I’m an experienced, licensed RMT working at Massage Addict Guelph and been in my profession providing clients with exceptional treatments since 2005. My approach with every new, first-time and returning client, is to assess their issues to determine and provide a professional treatments plan with all types of relaxing and healing techniques.
With some injuries including sports related ones I use advanced, modern techniques which are certified and approved by the Ontario School of Massage Therapy. I also provide traditional aromatherapy, deep tissue and Chinese massage with appropriate pressure when needed, to loosen tight muscles and tension for relaxation.
My focus is to have my clients enjoy their massage, feel refreshed and/or with ongoing treatments feeling better and eventually help heal and restore their body.
Sylvain Broucke, Registered Massage Therapist
Sylvain started his journey in the field of massage therapy in 2008 when he met Thai Massage and started studying it. He has been practicing Thai Massage since then and studied with many great teachers in Thailand and Europe. When he moved to Ontario with his wife and children, he studied at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy to become an RMT. He graduated in 2019 with the Outstanding Achievement Award for obtaining the highest grade point average.
During his years of studying Thai Massage, he started learning very effective osteopathic techniques and principles. It fueled his passion to start his 5-year formal training in osteopathic manual therapy at the Ontario Academy of Progressive Osteopathy in 2020.
His approach to massage is now very much influenced by the osteopathic approach to assessment and treatment. He incorporates joint mobilization including the spine, hips and ribcage, internal organs (abdominal and thoracic) release. He is passionate about helping clients with challenging issues that they have not been able to fully resolve with other modalities.
Sylvain likes to empower his clients, providing them with easy but powerful tools to implement into their everyday lives. He likes to educate on proper breathing bio-mechanics, effective posture and movement patterns, self-massage using balls and rollers.

Ashley Sherriff, Registered Massage Therapist
In 2012 I graduated from Humber College obtaining an advanced Diploma, and became registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. I have worked in a few different locations since being registered, which has given me the opportunity to work with a variety of clientele. I have experience with MVA, WSIB, concussions, stress relief, acute or chronic injuries, weekend warriors, regular maintenance, postural dysfunctions, pre/postnatal, infants, children, sport injuries, geriatric, and hospice/hospital settings. General Swedish massage techniques are the ones taught in school, and I have expanded mine with a few courses: Neuromuscular Integration and Structural Alignment, Acupressure level 1&2, Positional Release Technique, and Reiki Level 1, and pregnancy/infant.
I want to take my focus of practice more towards a holistic approach to treatment. As I have learned through treating, emotional stressors can show up in the body as physical dysfunctions, and then manifest themselves. I have always and will continue to treat each person individually, and focus the treatment on achieving the goals that have been set out by my client. Currently, I am instructing at a local college for the massage therapy program.
