Amanda Vaquerano, Registered Massage Therapist

Amanda is a 2014 graduate of Humber college. She firmly believes in the power of touch. Massage therapy has been a part of her life since she was a child and as an adult she has seen first-hand how massage therapy can enhance a person’s self-image and improve an individual’s health and wellness on both a physical and mental level.

During her on field placements she has gained experience working with: athletes, auto-immune disorders, neurological conditions, infants, pregnancy, complex mental disabilities and individuals undergoing substance withdrawal.

Amanda is also in good standing with the CMTO!

Stephen Hannes, Registered Massage Therapist

After graduating from Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington, Ontario, Stephen became a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the CMTO in 2006.

Stephen wholeheartedly believes and massages to the words of Mother Theresa, “Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier.” Knowing he can help alleviate the effects of injuries, stress and fatigue inspires him as a therapist each day.

Stephen is also a believer in a life long learning approach, and as such, is continually committed to advancing his skill set. He has completed postgraduate training in deep tissue massage techniques and uses this training to maximize relief of deep seated or persistent muscle tension.

Ryan Doiron, Registered Massage Therapist

Ryan graduated from the Mohawk college massage therapy program in the summer of 2017 bringing in fresh and new techniques to his practice. Ryan has been working in and out of clinics since his high school years. He incorporates his vast knowledge of human anatomy into his massages to accurately focus on whatever issue a client may ask him. Ryan is a strong believer in teamwork and working together to communicate and get the best results and massage for his clients. He specializes in Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports injury and trigger point therapy.

Lukasz Pokorski, Registered Massage Therapist

Lukasz enjoys treating people from all walks of life and has clinical experience with senior citizens, athletes, and people with neurological impairments. He has experience treating a variety physiological impairments such as postural faults, tension headaches, muscle strains and nerve impingment disorders. He is educated in General Swedish Techniques, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Assessment and Therapeutic Exercise. As a therapist Lukasz believes in empowering his clients through massage and an understanding of their conditions in order to lead them on the path to wellness.

Sarah MacDonald, Registered Massage Therapist

Living in today’s high tech -low touch world, I see the importance of maintaining a mind-body connection. It is my true desire to assist my clients in reaching their best health. I truly respect the time that each client commits to coming in for treatment, honouring that time with my focused effort. I use a variety of treatment techniques to help you achieve your optimal health. Whether you come in for a relaxing treatment, or have specific aches and pains, I can provide a tailor-made treatment for your own personal needs, while incorporating breathing techniques to help induce the parasympathetic nervous system (aka rest and digest). Trained in classic Swedish Massage, I include many varieties such as trigger point therapy, myofascial techniques, intra-oral work for TMJ issues, PNF stretching for better range of motion, pre/post natal, recovery from surgery, sports massage, joint mobilization, headaches/migraines, and many other ailments.

Urviben (Urvi) Patel, Registered Massage Therapist

I've always had a passion for fun, fitness, the human body and living a healthy sustainable lifestyle. This is what lead me to me start my educational career at Charusat University, India graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. After realizing I still wanted to continue to learn and pursue further education I entered the Massage therapy program.

I am highly motivated in my professional and personal life and enjoy a challenge when it’s presented. With a background in physiotherapy and massage therapy my goal is to combine the knowledge and skills I have learned and use it for the best care and treatment of my clients.

Jemal Anderson, Registered Massage Therapist   

I have been a Registered Massage Therapist for 22 years, Acupuncture for 17 years and Laser Therapy for 14 years.  As a RMT my priority is taking away pain. My work experience has led me into many areas of the Massage Industry including Spas, Salons, Chiropractic offices and MVA clinics. I also worked with a professional sports team, the Hamilton Bulldogs (ice hockey) pre and post game for a couple of seasons. 

I’m confident that I can develop an individual treatment plan specifically designed to help provide relief from stress, pain or chronic conditions. I would like to offer patients the option of Needleless Laser Acupuncture for those people who like to experience the benefits of Acupuncture but not  as excited about the actual needles, I am also a Certified Laser Therapist.

Carol Strickland, Registered Massage Therapist   

In April 2022, Carol graduated with Honors from the Massage Therapy Program at Oxford College in Burlington. As a Registered Massage Therapist, she focuses on reducing pain and stress while promoting relaxation through a variety of massage treatments and techniques. She specializes in Prenatal and Indie Head massage.
 
With a Bachelor of Science degree, and certification as a Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor with over 20 years' experience in the fitness industry, her knowledge and expertise add value in educating clients beyond their treatments. She understands the importance of setting SMART goals that will keep the focus on reaching one’s full potential, one step at a time.  

Carol leads by example in her own life by taking care of herself incorporating massage therapy, fitness, nutrition and spirituality. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family, rollerblade and play the flute. She would love to help you live your best life!

Amy Beamish, Registered Massage Therapist   

Amy graduated from Everest college in 2010 with honors. Amy has worked in many different settings from sporting events to high scale spas like Fallsview casino to multi disciplinary clinics working hand in hand with chiropractors and physiotherapists.

Amy joined Massage Addict in 2012 and enjoys working with a team of massage therapists. Amy incorporates Trigger point therapy, Myofasical release and Active Release techniques in combination with General Swedish Massage therapy to treat each client uniquely for optimal results.

Amy does not always believe in the saying "no pain no gain" however there are situations that call for Deep tissue massage. Amy also does prenatal massage.
