Our Licensed Chiropractors
Dr. Dwayne Dunnill, Licensed Chiropractor
Dr. Dwayne Dunnill completed an honours bachelor of science in kinesiology at the University of Waterloo before attending the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and graduating as a doctor of chiropractic in 2009, and has 10+ years of experience in Chiropractic care.
The foundation of his patient care is based on these principles:
- Prevention is preferable to treatment.
- When treatment is necessary, patient care should target the root cause of the symptoms, not just the symptoms themselves. Only by addressing the root source of your pain can we actually eliminate your pain once and for all.
- Patient care must strive to not only eliminate pain but also to support the patient in all areas of life that matter to them; at work, at play, and at home.
Keeping these principles in mind, Dr. Dunnill has incorporated a comprehensive suite of therapeutic services into his patient care model including; joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitative & mobility exercises, orthotic & compression therapy, elastic therapeutic taping, and more.
Dr. Dunnill has had the opportunity to develop his model of patient care while working with a variety of wonderful patient populations. In addition to the traditional practice setting, he has extensive experience working with athletes from a wide range of disciplines. He has provided therapeutic services for a number of teams and individual athletes; at several CrossFit locations; at events including the CrossFit Canada East Regionals and Reebok UGSeries; and as a member of the medical team during the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games. Dr. Dunnill has also grown his care model to encompass a variety of corporate settings bringing 3DHS' services on-site to the employees helping them where they need it most.
