Andres Gutierrez is a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.Ac and R.TCMP) dedicated to providing effective, compassionate care for a wide range of health concerns. In addition to acupuncture, he specializes in Acupressure, Tui Na, and Shiatsu massage, drawing on these techniques to address gastrointestinal and respiratory disorders, musculoskeletal conditions, insomnia, anxiety, PMS, and other hormonal issues. Andres has a strong foundation in his field with experience from the Toronto PWA (People with AIDS Foundation) and the Tzu Chi Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Passionate about his role as a therapist, Andres is dedicated to continually enhancing his acupressure and manual therapy techniques to address issues like migraines, neck pain, rotator cuff injuries, low back pain, and sciatica. He values the gentle, non-invasive nature of manual therapy, believing it plays a key role in boosting the body’s natural energy and strengthening immunity, which is why it has become a central focus in his practice. Yilai (Elaine) Mai, R. TCMP, R. Ac
Yilai (Elaine) Mai is a dedicated professional acupuncturist with a strong background in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a commitment to holistic healthcare. Holding R.Ac licenses from CTCMPAO, she earned her Bachelor of Chinese Medicine degree from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she was selected for the prestigious Tietao class (experimental class) under the guidance of Dr. Tietao Deng and Dr. Haibin Wang.
During her five years of TCM study, Elaine gained practical experience in hospitals, offering a comprehensive range of treatments including acupuncture, massage (tuina), moxibustion, acufacial and cupping. Her work at the No.1 Affiliated Hospital of GZUCM deepened her understanding of acupuncture's efficacy in acute conditions and pain management.
Elaine furthered her education and successfully got a Master of Public Health degree at Western University, gaining insights into community health and the Canadian healthcare system. This knowledge positions her well to understand the specific health needs of Canadians.
In addition to her expertise in pain management, Elaine specializes in treating conditions such as facial paralysis, insomnia, and frozen shoulders. She is dedicated to creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs, reflecting her holistic approach to high-quality care.
