Our Student Massage Therapists

Leona Doherty, Massage Student

Leona is from a small town in Ireland, and just relocated to Winnipeg. She has her Massage Therapy Certification through an accredited 2200-hour program in Ireland. She Graduated June 14, 2018 and is in the process of challenging the exams of equivelancy within Manitoba. She is very friendly and outgoing and loves all things skin care and beauty. She loves shopping and meeting up with friends for walks. Leona chose massage therapy because she loves to make people feel relaxed and stress free. She finds massage has a way of disconnecting from the outside world. Leona's favorite treatments to perform are back massages, Reflexology & facials. She will begin working with us on a student basis as she challenges the equivalency courses and exams. She works a mixture of Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend appointments and looks forward to meeting you soon! *Please note- you are unable to submit any student massages with insurers so services would be paid out of pocket at a reduced cost*

Cambree Martens, Massage Student

Cambree Martens is working towards her second year within the massage therapy program at Wellington College and is set to graduate in Summer 2025.

She is dedicated, compassionate, and empathetic; and chose Massage Therapy because she gets to see the ways it has helped those around her with their pain, and it inspired her to want to give that same relief to others. She has always wanted to help people and feels that this is the best way for her to do so – as if this was what she was meant to do.

When Cambree graduates, she hopes to gravitate further towards sports massage and working with fellow athletes.

When she is not massaging or studying, Cambree can be found weightlifting, reading, or camping.

Cambree looks forward to assisting with a relaxation massage at Massage Addict St Vital!

Sarah Wiebe, Massage Student

Sarah Wiebe is currently in her 2nd year of Massage Therapy at Wellington College of Remedial Therapies and plans to graduate in June 2025.

She chose to enter the Massage Therapy profession wanting to specialize in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to help support, educate and advocate for her clients to ensure the proper management of their symptoms based on her knowledge and personal experience.

When she can find a minute away from her studies, Sarah enjoys going out to the cabin, fishing, crafting and spending time with friends, family and her two crazy French Bulldogs!

Sarah will be able to start taking clients for September 20th, and will be with us on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Sarah looks forward to assisting with a relaxation massage at Massage Addict St Vital!
