Our Student Massage Therapists
Cambree Martens, Massage Student
Cambree Martens is working towards her second year within the massage therapy program at Wellington College and is set to graduate in Summer 2025.
She is dedicated, compassionate, and empathetic; and chose Massage Therapy because she gets to see the ways it has helped those around her with their pain, and it inspired her to want to give that same relief to others. She has always wanted to help people and feels that this is the best way for her to do so – as if this was what she was meant to do.
When Cambree graduates, she hopes to gravitate further towards sports massage and working with fellow athletes.
When she is not massaging or studying, Cambree can be found weightlifting, reading, or camping.
Cambree looks forward to assisting with a relaxation massage at Massage Addict St Vital!
Sarah Wiebe, Massage Student
Sarah Wiebe is currently in her 2nd year of Massage Therapy at Wellington College of Remedial Therapies and plans to graduate in June 2025.
She chose to enter the Massage Therapy profession wanting to specialize in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to help support, educate and advocate for her clients to ensure the proper management of their symptoms based on her knowledge and personal experience.
When she can find a minute away from her studies, Sarah enjoys going out to the cabin, fishing, crafting and spending time with friends, family and her two crazy French Bulldogs!
Sarah will be able to start taking clients for September 20th, and will be with us on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Sarah looks forward to assisting with a relaxation massage at Massage Addict St Vital!
Samantha Funk, Massage Student
Samantha will be graduating from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy in June of 2025. She is passionate about creating a safe place for the client to slow down, unwind and decompress. She is respectful, patient and empathetic, conveying these traits through her practice.
Samantha got into massage therapy with the intention of supporting and assisting others in their own healing. She loves learning and is especially interested in learning more about how the human body works in all its different facets. In the future, Samantha hopes to expand her career into prenatal and postpartum massage, supporting mothers as well as working with lymphatic drainage. In her free time, she enjoys working in her ever-expanding garden, camping and staying active.
Samantha is looking forward to treating you at Massage Addict-St Vital on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting November 14, 2024!
Please note: Insurance companies will NOT reimburse student invoices. 60-minute treatments with students are $40 plus tax.
